Labor day

I love public holidays because my daughter and husband stay home. For the long weekend we are going to go away and visit the in laws. I love the town that they live in, it's so small and quiet and it always feels good to be with family, since where we live at the moment is far from both sides of our family.
So I'm looking forward to the weekend. Have a nice labor day all!!

New Look

It's been ages since I changed the look of my template, I found a website with free ones so I took advantage of it. I thought this one was very cute, I also managed to keep the links to all the blogs!!
I'll update more very soon.
Take care!

The Irish Festival

So we did actually make it to the Irish festival and it did not rain! This is my second time there and it's just as good as the last time.
Sadly, one of the performers called Tommy Makem had passed away only a few days before the event, and we were hoping to see him there.
We did hear other Irish music, one band in particular was Flogging Molly which were pretty good, they are so popular, so they drew in a large crowd.
On top of the great music there was good food and stalls. We had a great time and I'll have to wait until next year!

Here is a picture of Flogging Molly that I took, although, you can barely see them so get your microscopic lenses out.

I will be back

.......and I have not forgotten your lovely blogs. Right now, we don't have internet since we moved into our new house. Also, it's summer break and we are not home often enough to do anything much online. But when I get the chance to get online I do read and visit.
So for about a week or so, things will be slow on this blog as they have been since July.
But some news for the day is that a group of us are all going out to the Irish festival today, if it stops raining.
See you soon
